The fiber (yarn) of the Italian linen we use is produced from flax plants grown in Western Europe. The high-quality linen plant grows predominantly in Belgium and the Normandy region of France. This region is the region where the highest quality linen plant is grown in the world in terms of climate, soil structure and cultivation expertise.
Pure linen is a type of fabric made from 100% linen fibers and without any other fibers (cotton, polyester, etc.) being mixed. Linen is a natural fiber obtained from the stem of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum), and these fibers are directly processed into natural, durable and breathable fabrics.
